A Method of Vibration Measurement with the Triboelectric Sensor during Geo-Energy Drilling

In the process of geo-energy drilling, real-time vibration measurement drill pipes is significance for an understanding downhole conditions and properties rock. However, sensors used in areas at present require additional power sources, such as batteries, replacing batteries would significantly reduce production efficiency increase costs. our work, a new method using triboelectric nanogenerator proposed which will synchronously achieve axial lateral vibration, also simultaneously be self-powered. The mainly made nanomaterials, polyimide film polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), depends on pulse signal generated by contact two friction layers to measure frequency. Axial tests show that output voltage amplitude approximately 3 V, range from 0 9 Hz, error less than 4%, maximum 5.63 uW. Additionally, 2.5 6.8 6%, 4.01 can typically work environment where temperature 145 °C relative humidity 90%.
